AWH is a U.S. multi-state operator in seven states including Illinois, Michigan, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Maryland.

JOB SUMMARY

This position reports directly to the Post Harvest Supervisor and is responsible for handling cannabis plant after they have been harvested from cultivation. It involves maintaining quality, efficiency and consistency in the harvest, take down, and packaging processes before they are ready for sale or further processing. This role requires adherence to company standard operating procedures (SOPs), health and safety protocols and compliance with applicable laws and regulations by the cannabis regulatory agency.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for bucking, trimming, plant takedown, drying, and curing cannabis harvests in preparation for oil extraction and/or flower sales
• Accurately weigh and record post harvest materials (waste/stems) consistent with company procedure and compliance regulations
• Equipment Operation - Learn to operate and maintain post machinery and equipment used in post harvest processes

OTHER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain a neat, sanitary, well organized work area compliant with safety regulations

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Must be 21 years of age or older and be able to pass a background check
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, lifting, trimming, and other repetitive motions while wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Comfortable performing manual tasks working in environments with high humidity, strong plant odors and fluctuating temperatures.
• Perform heavy lifting up of 25 to 50 pounds
