Role Summary
The Postdoctoral Research Associate will conduct research in infectious diseases with a focus on cell signaling and drug discovery. The role involves working with hazardous chemicals, biohazards, and infectious organisms.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and design research experiments, including troubleshooting and optimization.
- Collect, analyze, and present research data under the Principal Investigator’s supervision.
- Train and supervise students in laboratory techniques.
- Contribute to lab management and perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in biology, biochemistry, microbiology, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant laboratory experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Postdoctoral experience in a related field.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis software.
- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing environments.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge of current research methods.
- Understanding of laboratory equipment and operations.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and interruptions effectively.
