The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. is seeking multiple post-doctoral researchers to work in the Trapped Ion / Quantum Information group at Indiana University, Bloomington. Starting as soon as July 1, 2025, candidates will engage in experimental quantum simulations and algorithm development. The role requires a PhD in a relevant field and experience with ion traps.
Initial appointments are for one year, with a generous salary and benefits offered.
Multiple post‑doctoral positions are available in the Trapped Ion / Quantum Information group at Indiana University, Bloomington. The positions begin as early as July 1, 2025. Topics include the experimental quantum simulation of chemical and condensed‑matter systems using 1‑D and 2‑D ion arrays, and the development and optimization of quantum algorithms for hybrid quantum simulators.
