A Post-Doctoral Fellow position is open in the laboratory of Dr. Noam Auslander at The Wistar Institute. The Auslander lab employs state-of-the art machine and deep learning techniques to complex biological data, to answer pressing research questions in biomedicine. The lab focuses on developing new methods to understand how microbes modulate immune responses in human diseases, with a focus on cancer.
Candidates should have a PhD (or equivalent) degree or should be close to obtaining their doctoral degree. Applicants must have a strong background in one or more of the following disciplines: (1) Immunology, with some prior experience in computational biology (2) Molecular evolution, and in particular for microbial genomics (2) computer science training, with an interest in computational biology.
