Job summary

Thomas Jefferson University is seeking a Postdoctoral fellow in the Division of Hematology and the Cardeza Foundation for Hematologic Research. This position involves research on G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) signaling in relation to platelet biology and developing innovative antithrombotic therapies.

Ideal candidates will have a strong research background in molecular and cellular biology. Additional experience in hematology or thrombosis is beneficial but not mandatory. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Job description

Position

Postdoctoral fellow (one to two) in the Division of Hematology and the Cardeza Foundation for Hematologic Research, Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Research Focus

Studies of G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) signaling in platelet biology, thrombosis, and vascular disease, aimed at developing next‑generation antithrombotic therapies.

Current Projects

• CRISPR‑Cas9 gene editing
• Transgenic mouse models
• iPSC‑based genome‑wide screening
• Intravital microscopy
• Vascular injury and thrombosis models
• Advanced molecular and cellular biology techniques

Qualifications
