Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Contribute to the development of genetically fixed root-knot nematode resistant peanut lineages based on elite germplasm from the Southeast. (25%)
  2. Genome and transcriptome shock analysis in the synthetic allotetraploid BatSten1. (15%)
  3. Confirmation of root-knot nematode resistance in peanut advance backcrossed lines using in vitro bioassays. (15%)
  4. Evaluation of resistance in the field. (10%)
  5. Manuscript writing. (10%)
  6. Assist with daily lab operations, supervise students and technicians, and perform other duties as assigned. (25%)
