Duties/Responsibilities |
- Designing and conducting research experiments related to trait mapping, candidate gene identification and validation in, predominantly, sorghum and switchgrass
- Participating, as needed, in molecular analyses on other projects ongoing in the lab.
- Assisting with field and greenhouse work associated with the project or, if needed, other ongoing projects
- Communicating regularly and in a timely fashion with the PI regarding research and other issues relevant to the operation of the laboratory.
- Assisting, as needed, with the supervision of other members of the laboratory.
- Communicating the research through journal publications, oral and poster presentations
- Other duties as assigned
