Job summary

CO2000 H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute, Inc. seeks a postdoctoral researcher to contribute to cancer biology through translational and basic research at the Moffitt Cancer Center in Florida.

You will work with faculty on project planning, design and execution of experiments, data management, and development of new research techniques. Mentorship and opportunities to apply for training grants are available.

Qualifications

  • MD or PhD in Cancer Biology, Molecular and Cellular Biology, Immunology, Genetics or related.
  • At least one first author publication.
  • Experience with multicolor flow cytometry.
  • Extensive experience with preclinical mouse models including best practices for handling mice.
  • Strong immunology background.

Summary Position Highlights

Moffitt integrates excellent patient care with cutting-edge clinical and basic research. Having a cancer hospital on-site provides unique opportunities for translational research. Outstanding mentorship from expert faculty with wide-ranging funded research programs including T32 Training Grants. You will be encouraged and supported to apply for training grants.

Responsibilities

Salary

Salary Range $66,654.00 - $93,315.60Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions. We are committed to maintaining fair and equitable pay practices and regularly review compensation to ensure alignment across our workforce.
