Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented professional to perform regular performance reviews and monitor quality standards in a back-office operations role. You will rate production quality, prepare summaries for leadership, and assist with targeted training programs.

The position requires strong mortgage documentation understanding, multi-tasking ability, and excellent communication. Office work with standard shifts and availability for overtime is expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience and 2 years back office operations experience.
  • Strong understanding of mortgage documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with varying complexity and urgency.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, motivated and capable of working in a team.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Perform reviews (daily, weekly, monthly) to evaluate individual performance against standards.
  • Identify and rate production quality issues overall.
  • Provide final summary report to leadership after IQR and management discussion.
  • Assist leadership with training programs targeted toward department needs.
  • Support post closing with additional resources.
  • Collaborate with origination partners to improve processes using data from Feedback loop.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Perform reviews (daily, weekly, monthly) to evaluate individual performance compared to internal departmental quality standards.

  2. Identify and rate any production quality issues overall.

  3. Provide a final summary report to leadership once IQR and department management discuss and assess final risk ratings.

  4. Assist leadership with training programs targeted toward department needs or individual teammate issues.

  5. Support post closing with additional resources.

  6. Work with origination partners to improve processes utilizing data from Feedback loop


QUALIFICATIONS

OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS

Sitting/Standing/Walking/Bending/Lifting Sitting Constantly (More than 50% of the time)
Visual / Audio / Speaking Able to access and interpret client information received from the computer and able to hear and speak with individuals in person and on the phone.
Manual Dexterity / Keyboarding Able to work standard office equipment, including PC keyboard and mouse, copy/fax machines, and printers.
Availability Able to work all hours scheduled, including overtime as directed by manager/supervisor and required by business need.
Travel Minimal and up to 10%


The annual base salary for this position is $65,000 to $70,000.
