The Post Closing Paralegal plays a critical role in ensuring that every file isfinalizedaccurately, efficiently, and in full compliance with lender, title, and regulatory requirements.You’llwork closely with our Processing, Title, and Closing teams to protect the integrity of each transaction and deliver a seamlesspost-closingexperience.
You’llmanage your workload independently while being supported by a collaborative team that values communication, accountability, and shared success.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys closing the loop on transactions, takes pride in getting the details right, and proactively resolves issues before they become problems.
This is a full-time, in-office role reporting directly to the Director of Operations.
What You’ll Do
- Audit closing packages and lender documents to confirm accuracy and satisfaction of all conditions
- Review andcomply withspecial instructions from lenders, attorneys, and other parties
- Ensure all required documentation is complete,accurate, and properly executed
- Confirm signatures and notarizations meet required standards
- Identifymissing or incomplete items and follow up promptly withappropriate parties
- Maintainaccurateandtimelyupdates in internal systems
- Record documents and manage recording fees
- Disburse funds via check or wirein accordance withclosing and lender instructions
- Partner with internal teams to efficiently resolvepost-closingissues
What You Bring
- 2+ years ofpost-closingexperience (title, escrow, or real estate transactions preferred)
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- A proactive, ownership drivenapproach to managing files
- Positive,team-orientedmindset with a strong customer service focus
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines in afast-pacedenvironment
