Job Description Summary

The Post Closer - Audit Liaison Specialist supports mortgage related business strategies responsible for timely clearance of pre- and post-purchase deficiency conditions.

The goals of this position are to expeditiously obtain and deliver missing and/or corrected documentation to our investors to clear outstanding purchase / post purchase deficiency conditions, and to prioritize workload based on rate lock expiration and delivery deadlines to avoid any unnecessary lock extensions and/or late delivery penalties.

Job Details

We trust that as a Post Closer - Audit Liaison Specialist you will: (responsibilities)

  • Review deficiency conditions and determine what documentation will be required to clear the condition
  • Locate the missing documentation, and/or determine the appropriate party (borrower, Closer, Underwriting Support, Title Agent Employee, Builder Employee, Insurance Agent, etc.) and contact them to obtain the missing or corrected documentation
  • Communicate with investors to clarify information required and/or obtain waiver of erroneous conditions
  • Prioritize workload based on rate lock expiration and delivery deadlines and communicate any problems requiring management intervention in order to avoid monetary penalties
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Knowledge of Know Before You Owe, loan origination, processing, underwriting and closing guidelines for Conventional loans
  • Minimum 2 years mortgage or banking experience required
  • Excellent work ethic, high productivity and acute attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and quickly adapt to changing work assignments
  • Must possess a short learning curve related to integration of new skills and tasks
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

This position is considered a non-exempt position for purposes of wage-hour law, which means that you will be required to keep a time record and will be eligible for overtime pay.

  • Report to Division/Corporate Office/Community daily and adhere to schedule
  • Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer and/or electronic device

  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle if applicable

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time
  • The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds .

*Taylor Morrison experience and/or successful completion of training program may override required education and/or experience requirement.

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Salary Range: Pay Range (21.19-31.79)

Bonus or Commission Eligible: Staff Discretionary
