Job description

Newfi Lending is a fast-growing and well-funded residential mortgage lender aiming to expand our national presence. We are seeking a Post-Closing Assistant.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include key post-closing ancillary functions as determined by the needs of the department to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the post-closing and government insuring process. The Post-Closing Specialist is expected to be knowledgeable in all ancillary functions as needed.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and recognition of residential mortgage loan documentation (such as closing/post-closing packages and credit packages, on Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loans), including streamline, full documentation refinance, purchase, and new construction loan types.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and presentation skills via phone and email.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team, with a strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Good judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Excel.
  • Working knowledge of computers and software (including Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Standard or Professional), with willingness to learn new systems.
  • Effective time management skills and adaptability to changing departmental priorities and government guidelines.
  • Ability to perform at a high standard of quality and quantity.
