Protolabs in Raleigh, NC is hiring a Post Build Specialist DMLS to inspect, clean, and organize 3D printed builds for heat treatment. You will ensure lot traceability and coordinate with finishing and lab teams while following safety and quality procedures.

The role requires attention to detail, hands-on dexterity, and strong teamwork in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma and fluency in English are required, with PPE experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to focus on one task for extended periods.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and safe PPE use.

Responsibilities

• Review builds for defects and document issues in NCIS if needed.
• Clean builds of excess powder before heat treatment.
• Organize build platforms for heat treatment and ensure lot traceability.
• Transport and disposition platforms and coordinate with machine shop.
• Maintain safety, quality and end-of-day checklists.
