Job summary

Ellison is seeking Post Bake Operators to support the ongoing production of industrial baking machinery and packaging operations on day-to-day basis. You will wrap/bag cookies, ensure correct labeling, and follow safety and GMP guidelines.

The role requires reading and following work instructions, basic math, and the ability to communicate effectively with coworkers. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and be mechanically inclined.

Qualifications

• Must understand and follow directions and pass all Food Safety and Safety courses in English.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic with decimals.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions.
• Effective communication with coworkers.
• Work independently with self-management.
• Mechanically inclined.

Responsibilities

• Attend and be on time for all pre-shift production meetings.
• Follow GMPs and food safety programs.
• Complete required Alchemy courses throughout the year.
• Execute daily production schedule and process orders in sequence.
• Ensure packaging material is correct for products.
• Verify packaging information is accurate.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and utensils/equipment.
• Ensure packages meet weight and count requirements.
• Ensure equipment runs properly and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate batch/ materials/ deviation records.
• Monitor automated equipment for proper operation.

Post Bake Operators areresponsible for the ongoing production of the industrial baking machinery and support areas they are assigned to on a day-to-day basis; wrappers/baggers and seal out.

Post Bake Operators are responsible for the packaging of product into the various types of containers to be distributed to our customers that is not only safe to eat but meets all customer and internal specifications.

Job Responsibilities:

• Attend and be on time for all pre-shift production meetings
• Participation and adherence to all food safety and safety programs
• Completion of assigned Alchemy courses that are required throughout the year
• Execute the daily production schedule and process orders in the established sequence
• Ensure that all product is packaged in the correct packaging material
• Ensure that all packaging information is correct
• Ensure that all utensils, equipment, and work area is maintained in a clean and safe manner
• Ensure that packages meet weight and count requirements
• Ensure that equipment is running properly and at its most effective set up
• Accurately and legibly maintain records of batches made, materials used, deviations, and other processing parameters
• Monitor automated equipment to verify it is functioning properly

• Food safety management system policies and procedures
• Sanitation procedures
• Food safety management system policies and procedures to protect the Brand through providing extraordinary value through food safety and product quality
