Job summary

MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital is seeking a staff RN for the Post Anesthesia Care unit. You will use specialized training and nursing care in a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or within five years from hire date.
• RN license in Washington State or multi-state endorsement.
• Current BLS Certification.
• ACLS/NALS/PALS/TNCC/NRP certifications as required by facility/department.
• One year of experience in acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
• Utilize nursing knowledge to deliver care using the nursing process per hospital policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction.
• Foster a learning environment for patients, families, nursing staff and health-care team members.
• Advocate for ethical, holistic care respecting diverse backgrounds.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
