Job summary

MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital is seeking a Staff RN to join a hospital-based team, delivering nursing care through a multidisciplinary approach. This role supports a patient-centered environment and collaborates with colleagues to advance care quality and professional development.

The position requires a WA RN license (or MSL), a BSN or higher, and BLS; additional ACLS/PALS/TNCC/NRP certifications may be required by the department. A 0.9 FTE, day shift with 3-12 hour shifts is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required or obtained within five years.
• Current RN license in WA or MSL.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/NALS/TNCC/NRP as required.
• One year of acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis
• Utilize nursing knowledge to deliver care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction
• Foster a learning environment for patients, families, nursing staff and health care team
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse backgrounds
