Job summary

Net2Source Inc. is seeking a POS Test Engineer to join our team onsite in Irving, TX. The role requires strong POS workflow understanding and hands-on QA experience in enterprise environments.

You will perform manual and automated testing, API validation, and participate in CI/CD. Proficiency in Selenium/Playwright/Cypress and Jira/TestRail is expected, with excellent communication across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 4-6+ years QA experience in enterprise environments.
• Experience with retail domain apps and POS systems is valued.
• Strong manual and automated testing knowledge.
• Proficiency with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress or similar.
• Experience with API testing (REST/SOAP) and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Defect tracking with Jira/TestRail/HP QC; test management expertise.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Role: POS Test Engineer

Work Location: Onsite. Irving, TX

Pay Rate: $45/hr on W2

We expect candidates to have strong Retail domain and POS experience, including a clear understanding of POS workflows and automation scenarios

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field with 4-6+ years of QA experience in enterprise environments.
• Experience in retail domain applications, including POS systems and transaction flows (preferred but highly valued).
• Strong experience in manual and automated testing methodologies and tools.
• Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with API testing (REST/SOAP) and database validation (SQL/NoSQL).
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum and DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or HP QC.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including defect triaging and root cause analysis.
• Working knowledge of object-oriented programming (Java, Python, or similar) for test automation development.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and stake
