Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to perform POS application and hardware testing in an Agile environment. You will execute test cases, analyze outputs, and document findings for quick remediation.

Applicants should have a bachelor's degree in CIS/CS, 5 years in software testing with POS hardware, and hands-on experience with Selenium, Postman, Cucumber, UL, Eggplant, TestNG, and Jira within Scrum teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or related field or foreign equivalent.
5 years of experience in software testing and POS hardware testing.
2 years with Selenium, Postman, Cucumber, UL, Eggplant and TestNG.
Automating test cases, writing test scripts and executing them.
Web service API testing with Postman.
1 year of Agile Scrum and Jira experience.
Interpretation of results and reporting stories/bugs in Jira.

Responsibilities

Perform POS application and hardware level testing in an Agile environment.
Perform test cases, capture output and effectively perform analysis with observations.
Utilize JIRA to capture observations and recreate steps.
Work closely with the development team for testing needs.
Create service level testing plans utilizing Postman or similar automation tools.
Coordinate with IT associates and business customers to create test strategies and execute tests.
Perform lab management and oversight.
Create test strategies, scripts and plans to ensure first-class testing capabilities.
