Job summary

Three Bears Alaska, Inc. is seeking a POS/Receiving PIC to maintain accurate pricing across the store and to relay pricing information to corporate. This role also involves supervising the POS/Receiving/Auditing Department and ensuring proper back room controls.

Responsibilities include using POS software and various documentation processes, verifying invoices and logs, and coordinating with store leadership on pricing strategies. Evening and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2 years retail experience preferred.
• Customer service, math, and computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Print and replace pricing signage from batches or lists.
• Scan and verify pricing with electronic device; take corrective action.
• Receive products at the back door in POS; input pricing changes.
• Ensure invoices logged in POS system and on the receiving log within 36 hours.
• Scan invoices, receiving logs, and receivers to corporate Y-Drive before 10 am.
• Verify and sign Bill of Lading for freight received.
• Track purchases on receiving log; inform Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
• Input receiving data, print price changes, and verify pricing in POS.
• Compile information from vendor invoices for corporate pricing submission.
• Ensure price change batches are complete and accurate.
• Create ending TP R lists for extension or removal.
• Maintain back room security and restrict access.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Prints and replaces pricing signage from batches or manual lists.
• Uses electronic device to scan and verify pricing, taking corrective action when needed.
• Uses computer and POS software to receive in products at the back door and produces receivers to verify pricing.
• Ensures that invoices have been received into POS software system and listed on the receiving log within 36 hours of receiving the product
• Scans all invoices, receiving logs, and receivers to corporate Y-Drive before 10 am.
• Verifies and signs Bill of Lading for freight received.
• Tracks purchases on receiving log and conveys that information to the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
• Uses computer and POS software to input receiving, print price changes, print signs, and verify correct pricing.
• Using vendor invoices, compiles pertinent information including description, case cost, case quantity, vendor, size, department and sub department for submittal to corporate pricing.
• Assures that all price change batches are complete and accurate.
• Creates a list of ending TPR’s for Store Manager to review for extension or removal.
• Ensures security of back room product and that only authorized personnel enter the back room.
• Creates batches or lists at the direction of Corporate Office, Store Manager, or Assistant Store Manager for purposes of price maintenance or special projects.

Pay Range: Starting at $18.00 - $19.00/hr (DOE)

Working Environment

Work is performed in a store setting with ability to speak and receive phone communications often. Work requires computer usage with strength, dexterity, coordination and visual acuity to use keyboard and video display terminal and other office equipment. Continuously standing, walking, reaching at/below shoulders, frequently lift/carry up to 10 pounds below waist, up to 50 pounds at waist/chest and occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds above shoulders.
