Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Corporation in Findlay, OH, seeks a Marketing Systems Analyst to shape payment technology strategy, collaborating with POS vendors and our payments processor. The role includes testing, development, and deployment of our technology plans across marketing systems.

You will maintain relationships with business partners, participate in PCI-related activities, and help drive continuous improvements in POS and payment-related operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or Business-related discipline required or five (5) years of experience in Point of Sale, IT, or related technical experience in lieu.
• Two (2) or more years of experience in Point of Sale, IT, or related technical experience required.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a technical resource for marketing systems activities relative to POS technology.
• Stays abreast of industry developments and initiatives in the technical payments and petroleum space.
• Provides support of POS and technology operations, working with IT Services and Marathon's marketing field operations in extended capacities.
• Conducts regular communication and project development work with third-party payment processor.
• Conducts technical work with payment card networks, including proprietary payment products.
• Conducts technical integrations with managed network partners and loyalty partners.
• Works with vendor performance of the point-of-sale, back office, and network support tickets for trends, identifies improvements opportunities and contributes to trend analysis.
• Drafts needed changes to Marathon POS Specifications Documents.
• Aids in conduct of software user acceptance testing with the introduction of new software, specification changes, etc.
