Job summary

La Plaza Market in California is seeking a focused POS Clerk with experience in retail sales and bilingual English-Spanish to join our team. You will handle pricing updates, process transactions, and support front-end operations while maintaining accuracy and customer service standards.

This role requires flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends, and adherence to Weights and Measures, OSHA, and company procedures to ensure smooth store operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a POS role
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred (highly)

• Maintain POS department pricing changes as directed by Home Office.
• Ensure price changes are communicated effectively with Front End and other key departments.
• Ensure established Weights and Measures procedures (tares) mandated by the state of California are followed by department clerks.
• Understand OSHA regulations and ensure they are properly followed.
