Job summary

Welocalize recherche un traducteur freelance pour localiser et adapter divers contenus multimédias, y compris des films, des jeux vidéo et de la musique. Le candidat doit posséder une excellente maîtrise de la langue cible, avoir une expérience antérieure dans la rédaction, et être à l'aise avec des outils technologiques. Cette position de travail à distance offre une flexibilité de 2 à 10 heures par semaine avec un taux horaire de 28 USD.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Revoir, localiser et traduire des contenus liés aux Apps, Musique, Vidéo.
• Effectuer des recherches de marché sur le contenu local.
• Fournir des retours sur le contenu écrit par d'autres.

Duties :

– Review, localize, fact check, translate, and adapt Apps, Music, Video, Sports, and Fitness related content while adhering to writing style guide and guidelines;

– Conduct market-specific research on local content, product and terminology trends, and best localization practices for the target audience in their market;

– Provide feedback on written content by others

Requirements:

• BS/BA and 2+ years of work experience in the field of linguistics, journalism, copywriting, or copy-editing media content with proof of writing samples;
• Knowledge of apps, video games, movies, series, music, sports, or fitness – Experience in translation and localization of multimedia content;
• Native-level fluency in the target language
• Excellent grammar and writing skills in the target language
• Tech savvy: strong practical knowledge of computers and mobile devices, Word processors, spreadsheets, touch-typing expertise, digital presentations, search engine knowledge, keyboard shortcuts, virtual conferences, and social media;
• Knowledge of iOS/MacOS systems;
• Owning licensed versions of MS Office apps;
• Ability to work independently and remotely;
• Collaborative; enjoys teamwork in a multicultural environment.
