This position is not remote. You would be 100% on-site in our Fairfax or Reston, VA offices.**Responsibilities:** This role will enable you to utilize both your linguistic and teaching skills for a mission-driven role. You will provide in-person instruction for advanced adult students (Level 2-3 certified) in European Portuguese and may be required to summarize/gist, translate, triage, quality control and/or edit language materials into correct grammatical American English. **Qualifications:*** Active TS/SCI Clearance with adjudicated Polygraph* Bachelor’s Degree* Ability to pass an advanced English test* Ability to score Level 5 on Speaking, Listening, and Reading target language tests* Minimum five (5) years’ professional experience in language teaching/instruction* In-depth knowledge of the geopolitical, regional, ethnic, and cultural components of target language geographical areas* Master use of MS Office and internet research**Desired Qualifications:*** Has good understanding of one or more regional dialects* Consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation abilitiesThis position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately.
