Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with adjudicated polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree from a U.S. institution or from the country where the target language is spoken.
• Minimum of 5+ years direct adult teaching experience; or 7–10 years of relevant experience; or a master’s degree with 6–8 years of relevant experience.
• Pass an advanced English proficiency translation assessment at Senior Level (4+).
• ILR Level 5/5/5 in speaking, listening, and reading for the target language.
• Strong understanding of geopolitical, cultural, regional, and ethnic dynamics.
• Proficient with MS Office and skilled in online research.

Responsibilities

• Summarize, gist, translate, triage, and edit foreign‑language materials into American English.

These are full-time in-person positions requiring both teaching and language assessment responsibilities. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated strong adult teaching experience. Candidates must be passionate about language instruction, experienced in adult education, and capable of adapting materials to meet customized learning needs. A TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required for this role.
