NTC Language Services in Goshen, NY seeks dependable on-call interpreters fluent in English and Portuguese to support school settings across Orange Ulster BOCES districts. Interpreters may work on-site or remotely, traveling to client sites as needed to assist students, teachers, and parents.

Key requirements include strong English-Portuguese language skills, interpretation experience, reliable Wi-Fi, and weekday availability.

Formación

• Fluency in English and Portuguese.
• Experience interpreting and translating in English and Portuguese.
• Willingness to travel to Orange Ulster BOCES School Districts, NY.
• Ability to work remotely with required equipment.
• Available Monday through Friday.

Responsabilidades

• Accurately interpret and translate conversations and written documentation, conveying the original tone and intent.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including parents, students, and school staff.
• Manage time, assignments, and calendar effectively to complete all accepted work within expected timeframes.
• Connect with clients virtually, over the phone, and in person. Ensure timely communication is provided and attend meetings promptly.
• Continuously develop educational vocabulary and participate in professional development opportunities.
