Job Summary and Qualifications

Registered nurses provide and coordinate patient care, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to support patients and their families physically and psychologically.

The daily responsibilities include assessments, developing care plans, medication administration, documentation, education, equipment maintenance, and communication of patient needs.

What you will do in this role:

• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patient conditions, maintaining accurate and detailed records.

• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.

• Demonstrate knowledge of human growth, development, assessment, and care appropriate to patient ages.

• Promote hospital customer service initiatives.

• Utilize the nursing process for individual patient care.

• Perform technical skills and procedures competently.

Qualifications needed:

• Current RN licensure by TN Board of Nursing or a compact state.

• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

• ACLS and PALS within 1 year of employment.

• CPI certification within 6 months of employment.
