Job summary

Wealth Enhancement in Deer Park, NY seeks a Trader & Portfolio Operations Analyst to support trading, portfolio management, and operational workflows onsite. You will execute trades, rebalance, and maintain systems while generating business analytics for leadership.

The role requires 3+ years in trading/wealth management, FINRA Series 7, and strong Excel skills; Series 66 preferred. Salary ranges from $80,000 to $90,000 plus variable pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• FINRA Series 7 License Required.
• Minimum 3 years in trading, portfolio operations, or wealth management.
• Hands-on experience with Orion Eclipse.
• Working knowledge of Schwab, Fidelity, and Pershing custodial platforms.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute equity, fixed income, mutual fund, and ETF trades across client portfolios.
• Rebalance portfolios per investment models and advisor recommendations.
• Monitor asset allocation drift and implement portfolio changes.
• Assist with tax-conscious trading strategies and portfolio transitions.
• Review and reconcile trading activity for accuracy and best execution.
• Ensure all trading activities comply with firm policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain proficiency of custodial platforms and portfolio systems.
• Analyze assets under management, revenue trends, and client profitability.
• Create dashboards and reports to support management decisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and performance.
• Support with forecasting, planning, and strategic initiatives.
