Under the direct supervision of the Director of the Provider Finance Department, the Manager of Critical Projects (Portfolio Project Manager I) manages multiple concurrent projects that vary in size, scope, and complexity that affect the department. This role includes the management and oversight of staff and establishing short-, mid-, and long-term goals and objectives.
This position is responsible for developing policies and procedures, schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving established goals; coordinating and evaluating program activities; and supporting legislative inquiries and analyses. This position works under limited supervision, with considerable and/or extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
Attends work on a regular and predictable schedule in accordance with agency leave policy and performs other duties as assigned.
