Position Overview

Under general direction, this role manages all aspects of portfolio management for assigned loans, including cross-selling bank products and services. Responsibilities include preparing comprehensive Loan Offering Analyses that evaluate prospective financing properties, incorporating complex underwriting such as cash flow analysis, project economics, valuation, guarantor analysis, market analysis, and recommendations. The analyses cover commercial loans, owner-occupied mortgages, and construction and permanent mortgages. This role is considered the most experienced within the job family.

Key Responsibilities

• Solicit existing portfolio customers to increase and retain loan volume and cross-sell bank products and services.
• Negotiate transactions and prepare Loan Offering Analyses for renewals, modifications, and new business transactions; facilitate closings.
• Conduct annual reviews of existing loans to assess credit quality and covenant compliance; perform property inspections.
• Foster strong customer relations.
• Prepare Loan Offering Analyses, including:
• Property descriptions and market analysis
• Financial statement analysis
• Project economics, income/expense, tenancy, valuation, and cash flow models
• Construction budget analysis with sources and uses of funds
• Borrower and guarantor analysis
• Risk assessment with mitigation strategies and recommendations

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in the financial industry
• Extensive financial and loan analysis experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Argus, and financial analysis software, including discounted cash flow models

Working Conditions

Work is performed in a typical office environment with moderate noise levels. Travel by automobile may be required.
