Job summary

CNB St. Louis Bank in St. Peters, MO is seeking a Portfolio Manager to blend commercial lending with credit analysis.

The role requires direct client communication, strong analytical skills, and the ability to deliver excellent service while coordinating with multiple bank teams to protect credit quality. You will review loan requests, prepare analyses and memos, monitor portfolios, and support lenders through underwriting, pricing, and risk assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or finance.
• Experience in commercial lending or credit analysis.
• Knowledge of personal/business financial statements and tax returns.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Financial analysis, credit underwriting, and risk assessment.
• Assist lenders in underwriting new loan requests and renewals.
• Prepare preliminary assessments and financial analyses for lenders.
• Prepare credit memos with recommendations for loan pricing and terms.
• Review loan requests and supporting documents for lending criteria.
• Monitor loan portfolio and communicate with borrowers to ensure timely exhibits.
• Coordinate with teams to ensure timely and high-quality work.
• Assist in assembling materials for committee and board presentations.
