Job summary

City National Bank is seeking a Portfolio Manager Associate to support RBC Rochdale Financial Advisors and clients. The role involves implementing proprietary strategies and asset allocation, assisting Sr PMs, and driving portfolio management activities.

You will analyze portfolios, respond to inquiries, manage the book, execute trades, monitor risk, and present client reviews. Collaboration with technology and strategy teams is essential for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 4+ years of experience in Investment Management
• FINRA Series 65, or the ability to obtain
• MBA and/or CFA (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Recommend initial strategic asset allocations for new clients and trades
• Respond to client/advisor inquiries with portfolio context and investment thesis
• Manage the book across client portfolios and track actions
• Execute trades to implement asset allocations and assess tax implications
• Monitor portfolios for deviations and provide recommendations
• Create and review client portfolio review and risk/return presentations
• Develop teammates' skills and delegate tasks
• Collaborate with technology, strategy, operations, and trading teams
• Support process controls and complete special projects
