DataAnnotation is seeking a Finance Expert to evaluate AI-built financial analyses on real corporate scenarios, verify the underlying accounting, and craft judgments that guide models toward defensible finance work.

You will stress-test AI-driven models, trace the reasoning to reveal inconsistencies, and write clear, CFO-ready analyses with honest assumptions and transparent drivers.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in corporate finance or FP&A.
• Fluency with modeling: three-statement builds, DCF, and the accounting behind them.
• Clear written English: explanations as training signal.
• No degree required.

Models can build a three-statement model that looks clean and still get the mechanics wrong: a balance sheet that doesn't balance, working capital that flows the wrong way, a circular reference silently zeroed out. Someone has to trace the numbers back through the logic, and that someone is you.

As a Finance Expert you'll evaluate AI-built financial analyses on real corporate scenarios, check the valuation assumptions and the accounting behind them, and write the judgments that teach models what defensible finance work looks like.

Compensation

Up to $40 – $125+/hr depending on task difficulty and specialization. Many contributors add $10k–$100k+ a year; some make it their full-time income.
