Job summary

Storm4 is seeking a Portfolio Manager for a front-office commercial role focused on structured wholesale power transactions in the U.S. You will own P&L, hedging, and portfolio optimization across power, capacity, RECs, and related assets.

You will collaborate with Origination, Structuring, Trading, Risk, Legal, Credit, and Regulatory teams to drive bids, pricing, hedging, and execution, while reporting results to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in power portfolio management, trading, origination, valuation, or risk.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. wholesale power markets.
• Experience with P&L, hedging, forward curves, or mark-to-market valuation.
• Strong quantitative, commercial, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor portfolio performance, P&L, and market risk
• Build forward curves, forecasts, and mark-to-market valuations

A leading North American energy trading organization is looking to hire a Portfolio Manager, in a front-office commercial role managing the P&L, risk, and performance of structured wholesale power transactions.

You will work closely with Origination, Structuring, Trading, Risk, Legal, Credit, and Regulatory teams to lead transactions from bidding and pricing through execution, hedging, and ongoing portfolio management.

Key Highlights

• Manage P&L across a portfolio of full requirements transactions
• Lead bidding processes across assigned U.S. power markets
• Develop and execute value-enhancing hedge strategies
• Work across energy, capacity, RECs, ancillary services, and transmission
• Partner with Origination and Structuring to develop and close transactions
• Gain significant front-office exposure and commercial ownership
