Regional Community Manager – Affordable Senior Housing

Based in South Florida | 75% Travel Across Florida & Puerto Rico

We’re searching for a dynamic Regional Community Manager to oversee a portfolio of affordable senior housing communities across Florida and Puerto Rico. This is a highly visible role for a field-first leader who thrives in a mission-driven environment and knows what it takes to build strong teams, ensure compliance, and deliver excellence.

Your Role at a Glance

You’ll serve as a trusted regional leader and the key link between local operations and senior leadership.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Guide and support Community Managers and on-site teams across Florida and Puerto Rico
• Conduct weekly site visits for inspections, compliance reviews, and training
• Drive performance in occupancy, rent collection, budgeting, and resident satisfaction
• Ensure regulatory compliance across HUD, LIHTC, PRAC, RAD/PRAC, HOME, Section 8, and more
• Oversee vendor relations, capital improvements, and preventative maintenance programs
• Recruit, train, and develop high-performing property teams
• Collaborate with executive leadership to implement strategic initiatives

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of multi-site leadership experience in affordable housing
• Proven knowledge of HUD, LIHTC, PRAC, RAD/PRAC, and Section 8 compliance
• Bilingual in Spanish and English – required for site and team communication
• Ability to travel frequently (75%) across Florida and Puerto Rico
• Strong operational and staff development skills
• South Florida–based candidates strongly preferred
• Experience with RealPage/OneSite (or similar systems)
• COS, HCCP, ARM, or other certifications are a plus
• Background in 55+ senior housing highly valued
