In this role, you'll manage a portfolio of commercial banking relationships by supporting credit decisions, monitoring risk, and strengthening client relationships. You’ll work closely with Relationship Managers and internal partners to grow loans, deposits, fee income, and referrals while building valuable commercial banking expertise.
Analyzefinancial information and loan requests to assess credit quality and recommend appropriate structures.
Manageportfolio risk and ensure relationships follow bank policies, procedures, business strategies, and regulatory requirements.
Monitorborrower financial performance, loan repayment activity, renewals, and overall credit quality.
Partnerwith Relationship Managers to serve clients, support new business opportunities, and strengthen existing relationships.
Coordinatedue diligence and credit analysis for new relationships and prepare materials for the loan approval process.
Identifyopportunities to connect clients with Treasury Management, Private Banking, Capital Markets, and other bank solutions.
Supportcollection efforts and take appropriate action when accounts become past due or repayment concerns arise.
RepresentAssociated Bank in community and business activities that strengthen its presence in the local market.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Less than 2 years of experience in Commercial/Corporate Banking, Commercial Real Estate, Specialized Banking, or Credit Approval.
Reliable transportation and the ability to lawfully drive, if applicable, by the start date.
Less than 2 years of experience handling complex credits.
Less than 2 years of sales experience.
Less than 2 years of formal credit training.
CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) certification by the start date.
