Job description

This opportunity is accountable for developing and implementing portfolio strategies aiming to achieve the target risk and return profile for the allocated funds within pre-determined investment parameters. Actively engaged in divisional client support by playing a key role in the establishment and maintenance of strong client relationships.

Review and analyze investments to select assets and manage individual portfolios.

Collaborate on business development opportunities to support initiatives.

Contribute to investment strategy discussions and aid in the development of portfolio strategies based upon the analysis of macroeconomic factors and sector fundamentals.

Manage portfolios ensuring adherence to all applicable internal policies and regulatory guidelines and alignment to global strategies.

Manage daily implementation of the investment process in accordance with investment objectives for global portfolios.

Actively participates in weekly investment team meetings.

Comply with all delegated authorities/risk parameters and demonstrate understanding of the risk management framework.

Requirements

Required Education

Graduate Degree

Required Experience

5 years of relevant experience

Understanding of sophisticated financial products (cash and derivatives).

Experience modeling cash flows and examining accounting statements.

Performing in-depth financial analysis and presenting results and conclusions.

Assisting in the management of portfolios with measurable return objectives and explicit risk parameters.

Advanced knowledge of products and concepts relating to the financial services industry, including financial instruments, financial management, insurance principles, and cash and capital principles.

Advanced knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking, and the analysis and reporting of financial data.

Advanced working knowledge of portfolio management theory.

Advanced knowledge of capital and global markets.

Advanced working knowledge of finance technology processes, procedures, solutions, and best practices.
