Job summary

Blackstone is launching a 2026 Portfolio Management Program in New York to develop finance and operational talent for CFO teams across portfolio companies. The immersive program begins Fall 2026 with onboarding, followed by two to three years of rotations at multiple portfolio companies across industries.

Qualifications

• Willingness to relocate throughout the United States based on business and portfolio company needs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting or a quantitative discipline with a strong academic record.
• 2+ years of work experience in FP&A, deal advisory, consulting, corporate development/strategy, corporate rotational programs, or corporate banking.
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem‑solving skills; ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing materials for leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Ability to operate in dynamic, ambiguous environments while managing multiple priorities and deadlines with limited oversight.
• High degree of intellectual curiosity, sound judgment, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across teams and organizational levels.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Complete structured onboarding and technical training covering financial modeling, valuation, financial statement analysis, performance reporting, IPO readiness, advanced Excel and PowerPoint, Capital IQ, and Blackstone internal systems.
• Complete a minimum of two portfolio company rotations, generally twelve to fifteen months each, supporting finance and/or operations priorities based on portfolio company needs.
• Support strategic, operational, and transaction-related initiatives, including FP&A, corporate development, IPO preparation, risk management, merger integration, and operational improvement efforts.
• Partner with portfolio company management teams and collaborate with Blackstone Finance, Deal, and Asset Management professionals on key business priorities.
• Participate in formal mentorship, annual program conferences, and networking opportunities across the Blackstone platform.
• Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and strong execution while representing Blackstone within portfolio company environments.
