Job summary

Phillips Edison & Company’s Portfolio Management Internship in Cincinnati offers hands-on support to the Portfolio Management department with the aim of maximizing financial returns across the regional properties. You will report to the Associate Vice President of Portfolio Management and gain cross-functional exposure across multiple projects and sites.

During the term, you will work on property dashboards, ESG/GRESB initiatives, and data science-related projects while coordinating

Responsibilities

• Update Property Dashboards and prepare SWOT summaries.
• Support ESG/GRESB projects and data science initiatives.
• Assist with State of the Region presentations and TOT dashboard monitoring.
• Conduct property/site visits and collaborate across functions.

What you’ll do

This Portfolio Management Intern will be responsible for supporting the Portfolio Management department in the management of our properties to maximize financial returns. This role will report to an Associate Vice President of Portfolio Management and will be in our Cincinnati office.

• Property Dashboard Updates (Including SWOT Summaries: Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats)
• ESG/GRESB Projects
• Projects related to Data Science Initiatives for department
• State of the Region presentation coordination
• Monitoring of the TOT (Tenant Open Tracking) Dashboard
• Property/Site visits
• Cross Functional exposure

What you’ll learn

Throughout the internship term this role provides the student with the following:

• Exposure to all properties/funds within the regional portfolio management teams
• Learn or further develop the process of documenting work performed on projects and communicating effectively with supervisors and company personnel
• Further develop skills required to interact with other professionals at varying levels of the company
• Further develop time management skills and the ability to be responsible for more than one project at a time

• A current university student enrolled in a degree seeking program studying a business-related field with a minimum GPA of 3.0
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, the ability to interact with a variety of groups internally and externally, including senior leaders
• Ability to work independently, with direction and guidance, and on a team (as needed)
• Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to balance multiple priorities at once
