Job summary

DoubleLine's Client Portfolio Management (CPM) group seeks a Client Portfolio Associate focused on portfolio analysis, performance attribution, and competitive intelligence to strengthen sales engagement and client communications.

You will partner with CPMs, Product Specialists, and investment teams to deliver data-driven fund content for client materials and presentations, while building investment strategy expertise for future client engagement.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in asset management, investment research, or related investment functions.
• Strong understanding of fixed income markets, asset management, and portfolio construction principles.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proactive, intellectually curious, and motivated to develop investment expertise.
• Series 7 and Series 63 licenses are a plus.
• Morningstar Direct experience strongly preferred.
• Bloomberg terminal and Macrobond experience preferred.
• Interest or progress toward CFA or CAIA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth portfolio analysis to support CPMs and distribution teams, including performance attribution and risk drivers.
• Develop competitive intelligence via peer fund analysis, consultant research, and Morningstar data.
• Produce high-quality, data-driven fund content for sales teams and client materials.
• Research market trends and competitive developments to inform portfolio analysis and client communications.
