Job summary

RBC Wealth Management in Minneapolis seeks a Portfolio Implementation Analyst to support model portfolio management and trading activities, ensuring accurate and timely execution. You will collaborate with internal and external providers, monitor allocations, and manage risk within guidelines to uphold client service standards.

The role emphasizes day-to-day operations, onboarding of providers, and process improvements across portfolios.

Qualifications

3–5 years of securities and financial markets experience in portfolio administration or trading support.
BA / BS in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
Series 7, 63/65 or 66 (or ability to obtain licenses within prescribed timeframe).
Basic understanding of the broker/dealer industry, distribution channels, managed accounts and trade practices.
Experience with Envestnet or other portfolio accounting and management systems.
Experience with equities, fixed income, mutual funds and ETFs.
Experience working with sub-advisors within a multi-manager offering.
Strong computer skills – specifically Microsoft Excel and Access.
Proficient business math skills.

Responsibilities

Assist with onboarding internal/external model providers and ensure timely model portfolio change processing.
Coordinate with model providers to optimize trading processes and reduce risk.
Support day-to-day operations and trading duties for model portfolios.
Implement new account asset allocation and investment fulfillment.
Monitor client constraints, allocation guidelines and drift; assist with cash flows and rebalancing.
Review portfolio risks and dispersion; coordinate trade error corrections.
