True North Advisors in Dallas, TX seeks a Portfolio Analyst to support portfolio construction, optimization, and client-focused implementation across multiple accounts and custodians. You will analyze holdings, monitor risk and tax considerations, and coordinate with advisors to execute strategies.

The role requires strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with portfolio management tools. Bachelor’s degree and 0–5+ years’ experience preferred; telecommuting options available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 0–5+ years of experience preferred; range considered.
• Strong understanding of portfolio construction, asset allocation, risk management.
• Experience with multiple custodians and investment vehicles is a plus.
• Advanced Excel and analytical capabilities are essential.

Responsabilités

• Analyze, implement, and monitor portfolio strategies across various account types and tax structures.
• Evaluate and manage transitions involving concentrated positions, embedded gains, illiquid holdings, and tax considerations.
• Perform household-level portfolio analysis to align accounts with objectives and cash flow needs.
• Coordinate separately managed accounts, third-party managers, and alternative investments.
• Review account restrictions, investment guidelines, liquidity needs, and tax considerations.
• Monitor portfolio drift, risk exposures, and implementation exceptions across client relationships.
• Develop tax-efficient implementation strategies in collaboration with advisors.
• Assist in integrating acquired advisory firms with portfolio analysis and model alignment.
• Maintain and enhance trading platforms, data integrity, and workflow governance.
• Identify automation opportunities for process optimization.
