Calamos Investments is seeking an early-career Portfolio Construction Specialist to support investment analysis, proposal generation, and portfolio trading for Calamos Wealth Management. Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required in a finance, economics, business, computer science, data science, or related field.
• Progress toward CFA or advanced degree are a plus.
• Experience with wealth management, trading, and rebalancing platforms is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Supports the Investment Team with investment analysis and proposal generation for prospects, and assists with portfolio trading, rebalancing, and client reporting under guidance of senior team members.
• Builds and maintains Excel-based and automated workflows to automate recurring portfolio tasks such as rebalancing analysis, drift monitoring, tax-lot and gain/loss reporting, and proposal production.
• Prepares presentations and materials for client meetings, including asset allocation information, charts, statistics, and other data, and builds dashboards (Power BI/Tableau) for advisors.
• Develops working knowledge of asset allocation, portfolio construction, and manager research and selection.
• Assists with day-to-day implementation of modeled/custom portfolios and supports options strategies by preparing analytics and monitoring positions.
• Supports technologies and systems used for portfolio management and trading (Black Diamond, Bloomberg, Morningstar Direct), tests new tools, documents workflows, and troubleshoots data issues.
• Conducts analyses related to gain/loss, cash management, liquidity, and risk profiles; applies data quality checks and reconciliation routines.
• Builds automated checks for compliance and consistency with investment objectives; Escalates exceptions to senior team members and Compliance.
• Follows the firm’s policies for responsible AI use, data security, and model governance; documents AI-assisted processes.
• Participates in client meetings to observe and learn and contribute insights on portfolio construction and trading.
• Contributes to special projects researching new data sources, analytics, and AI-enabled tools to improve processes.
• Gathers feedback from investment team and advisors to drive practical tool/report improvements.
