Position: Interim VP of Finance

Our client, a global professional services firm focusing on safety, risk management, and engineering consulting, is seeking an Interim Vice President of Finance. This high-impact leadership role reports directly to the CFO and oversees FP&A and Corporate Accounting functions. The successful candidate will drive strategic financial planning, develop business cases, and prepare executive-level reports. This is a 100% remote position, with occasional travel to the East Coast possible.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting across the organization
• Advise executive leadership with actionable financial insights
• Oversee monthly and quarterly reporting, board materials, and lender presentations
• Manage corporate accounting operations, audits, and ensure US GAAP compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA and/or MBA preferred
• 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including senior leadership roles
• Proven success in FP&A, strategic planning, and process improvements
• Experience in private equity-backed or growth-oriented environments preferred

Compensation

Compensation depends on skills, experience, certifications, location, and organizational needs. The estimated base salary range is $120 - $150 per hour, with potential discretionary bonuses, consistent with local laws and salary disclosure regulations.
