Job summary

Harrison Street Asset Management (HSAM) is a leading global alternative investment manager focused on real estate, infrastructure, and credit strategies. The Chicago-based firm seeks an entry-level real estate/finance analyst to support portfolio management through rigorous financial modeling and data analysis.

You will work with Excel-based models, respond to investor requests, and collaborate with Acquisitions and Asset Management to integrate new investments and track performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in real estate or finance or equivalent work experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
• Core knowledge of real estate, finance and accounting.

Responsibilities

• Perform portfolio financial analysis for the Portfolio Management group.
• Update models to project fund-level cash flows and returns.
• Maintain portfolio investment and diversification summaries for IC reviews.
• Monitor fund performance and communicate opportunities or threats.
• Assist in investor reporting, committees, webinars and internal reporting.
