Job summary

Addepar is seeking a Portfolio Analytics Architect to lead end-to-end data validation for client projects, focusing on portfolio data accuracy and scalable analytics in Databricks.

The role requires hands-on data problem solving with Python, Spark, and SQL, plus strong communication to coordinate with internal teams and clients. You will drive AI-enabled automation ideas and ensure timely delivery of complex data initiatives.

Qualifications

• B.S in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Business or Economics.
• 2+ years experience in Technology, Finance or Consulting.
• Experience with complex investment datasets and multi-asset data.
• Proficiency in Python, Spark and/or SQL; ETL fundamentals.
• Working knowledge of REST APIs.
• Experience with Databricks or cloud-based data platforms.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the data validation end-to-end with the client and internal project teams.
• Develop scalable data analytics processes for validation in Databricks.
• Write custom Python logic to detect data anomalies and automate remediation.
• Facilitate recurring client sessions to track progress and steer the data validation project through to completion.
• Support clients with researching and identifying portfolio data performance discrepancies and make recommendations on how to fix issues.
• Review, compare and document system calculation methodologies differences.
• Coordinate across project teams with regular status updates and set expectations.
• Mitigate project risks by escalating impediments to stakeholders and leadership.
• Prioritize and context-switch to complete multiple projects and see them through.
• Identify and implement AI-driven automation and LLM integrations to streamline implementation.
