Job summary

J&M Property Management in Sioux Falls, SD seeks a Porter Tech I - Housekeeping to prep vacant units and maintain common areas, hallways, windows, and lobbies.

You will follow cleaning schedules, use MSDS, and work with leasing and maintenance to access units, promoting safety and resident satisfaction.

Prior janitorial experience and knowledge of cleaning chemicals are required; ability to lift 25 lbs and work independently is expected.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of janitorial or housekeeping experience.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Daily inspection of properties from top floor to bottom.
• Follow a cleaning schedule for rotating properties.
• Gain access to empty units with Leasing and Maintenance for final clean.
• Use housekeeping checklist and document completed work.
• Perform custodial tasks in common areas, offices, restrooms, and vacant units.
