Job Summary

We are seeking a housekeeper responsible for cleaning vacant units, common areas, offices, and models. The housekeeper reports to maintenance or the business manager and collaborates closely with maintenance staff.

Responsibilities

• Clean the property office, restrooms, laundry rooms, model apartments, and common areas on a schedule.
• Prepare vacant units for showing and occupancy.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisors.
• Assist with inventory control.
• Follow safety guidelines and report obstacles.
• Make ready units for new tenants, check appliances, and inform maintenance of issues.
• Create keys when needed.
• Inspect and perform minor repairs on bathroom tiles, replace filters, operate carpet cleaning equipment, and assist with trash removal.
• Inspect vacated apartments, complete checklists, and inform management of repairs.
• Check and replace lights, repair windows, screens, hinges, sliding doors, shelves, baseboards, mirrors, and closets.
• Assist with appliance issues and removal as necessary.

Minimum Requirements

• Willingness to perform all tasks required.
• Knowledge of safety habits.
• Professional representation of the company.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Availability for on-call, extended hours, and weekends.
• Organizational and prioritization skills.
• Good social skills to interact with residents.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, climb, and stoop for up to 8 hours or more.
• Walk the property in various weather conditions.
• Climb stairs and lift up to 30 lbs.
