Job description

We are currently looking for a Porter to join our team at a property in Plano, TX.

The Groundskeeper/Porter is responsible for general maintenance, groundskeeping, housekeeping, and responding to customer service requests to ensure excellent curb appeal and quality of apartment homes.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, and janitorial services as per schedule and policies. Inform management of supply needs; keep storage areas organized and secure.
2. Refurbish and renovate apartments. Conduct daily property inspections for curb appeal, condition, deferred maintenance, and safety issues to meet inspection standards and the "I would live here" test.
3. Notify management of safety concerns.
4. Participate in safety meetings. May require training for certifications such as lead, asbestos, HVAC, and CFC licensing.
5. Maintain and clean the swimming pool daily.
