Job summary

PeakMade Real Estate, an Atlanta-based property management and development company, seeks a maintenance/all-purpose technician to keep units and common areas in top condition. The role involves cleaning, preparing vacant units, stocking supplies, and responding to resident requests while upholding safety policies.

The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, capable of physical work, and committed to a professional, friendly resident experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read a limited number of two- and three syllable words and basic numbers. Ability to speak simple sentences.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant units for occupancy and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
• Clean the leasing office, amenity areas, laundry facilities and other common areas daily or as scheduled by the Manager.
• Maintain inventory, supplies, and equipment owned by the property or management company.
• Provide courteous, efficient responses to resident and management requests; report unusual or extraordinary circumstances.
• Adhere to OSHA standards and company safety policies at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do:

• Cleaning the leasing office, amenity areas, laundry facilities and other common areas on a daily basis, or as scheduled by the Manager.
• Maintaining inventory, supplies, and equipment owned by the property and/or the management company.
• Providing courteous, efficient response to resident and management requests. Reporting unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Adhering to OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Activities

Requires frequent lifting and moving of up to 75 pounds when using machinery and equipment for essential maintenance tasks, including but not limited to installing outside air conditioning units. Requires frequent bending and/or stooping to access equipment and machinery necessary for essential maintenance tasks. Must be knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of cleaning fluids and tools.

*The anticipated pay range for this role is $16.00 - $17.50 per hour, with final compensation determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity.
