Gersh Autism seeks a full-time Porter / Maintenance Worker to maintain school facilities. Responsibilities include cleaning classrooms and performing minor repairs, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and experience in maintenance, alongside a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

We offer comprehensive therapeutic services—speech, physical, occupational therapy, and more—along with vocational training for older students. Our dedicated team collaborates with families to ensure academic, social, and emotional growth, preparing students for success beyond the classroom.

The Porter / Maintenance Worker is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the school facilities, providing efficient and effective caretaking support to our properties including ensuring the security and general appearance of the buildings and surrounding areas are maintained in accordance with the required standards. This includes cleaning common areas, classrooms, and restrooms, as well as performing minor maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, basic mechanical aptitude, and a positive attitude. This position is full-time $19 hourly, Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
